Large golden-yellow daisies above handsome rosette of stiff shiny thistle-like leaves Tender, long-blooming. Needs sun and drainage 30-36”

Fine fragrant foliage, good clipped, spangled with tiny pink flowers. Likes sun & drainage 24"
Datisca cannabina
Greenish white flowers Aug followed by fabulous arching seedheads on 7ft upright stems. Bold hemp-like perennial. 6-8ft

SEA BUCKTHORN
Silvery leaved thorny shrub/small tree. Deciduous, tough, sun, reasonable drainage 15ft
  Lepechinia bella
Bright blue Salvia-like flowers. Compact evergreen shrub. Borderline hardy? 36”

Linaria purpurea 'Brown's White'
Slender spires of tiny pure white flowers, small leaves, 36". Self sows, some may be purple.

 

Linaria triornithophora Pink form
Buds like three parakeets sitting on a branch. Quite large pale pink flowers on airy 36" stems. Borderline hardy, can grow as annual, likes sun & drainage.

 

Michauxia campanuloides
Stupendously beautiful biennial. Very reflexed 3" white petals fly back from exerted 2" white stamens. Hardy but hard to grow. Likes sun & drainage, dislikes root disturbance 4-5 ft
