The difference betwqeen a bulb, a corm and a tuber and howthis affects their treatment.  How to use them to best effect in your garde.  Selecting them for interest at all times of year.

TAKING CUTTINGS   £100

Learn how new plants grow from cuttings. How to take your cuttings and when. Composts, timing, aftercare. Practice taking softwood cuttings of different kinds of plants in Derry’s garden. Take home several pots of cuttings. (maximum of 12)

How to choose a suitable tree.  The role of single stem vs. multi-stem trees. Best practice planting, staking and formative pruning.  Bare root vs. root balled vs. contaner grown plants and how this affects planting time and establishment routine.
