Beautiful tulip-shaped flowers, pale yellow with orange centres and a ring of yellow stamens. Attractive clusters of seeds like 3" wooden flowers. Glossy green leaves appear to have been bitten off at the tip. Grey bark. Fast-growing but long-lived upright tree with good autumn colour. Appreciates good soil, very tolerant of pollution. 50ft plus
