Enormous white flowers with nearly black flares from centre. Extraordinarily beautiful Tree Peony. Long-lived and tough but slow to germinate 10ft (3 seeds)
To speed germination - Soak seed overnight, then mix with damp vermiculite and keep at room temperature (in glass jar or plastic bag) until root emerges (1-3 months). Then keep cold (fridge or outdoors) till shoot appears (2-3 months). Prick out immediately and grow on in the light. Otherwise likely to be 18 months before shoot appears.
3 seeds per packet (approx).
